Jane Armstrong (New London, NH) President of the League of Women Voters of NH and a current Board member; represented the League on NH’s public funding coalitions since 1997 and therefore has a strong background on this issue in addition to her general skills in working on legislative issues.

Rick Bourdon - Co-Chair (Lyme, NH) is a Vermont native, but has spent most of his adult life as a rancher and college professor in Wyoming and Colorado. In 2004, after raising four children in the west, Rick and his wife, Lucie, moved back to New England, settling in Lyme. In the summer of 2011 Rick heard Lawrence Lessig speak on corruption in Washington. Lessig’s talk inspired Rick to study the history of campaign finance reform in this country and the role of the courts in that narrative.

Peg Fargo - Co-Chair (Bow, NH) is retired educator, former Chair of OLLI (Osher Lifelong Learning Institute), former Granite State College Steering Comm. Member.  Currently VP of League of Women Voters/NH.

Don Jorgenson (Manchester, NH) is a retired Businessman who has served on the Londonderry, NH Budget Comm. and member of the MAA (serving as Secretary 2009-2014)

Bob Perry (Strafford, NH)  retired from his position as the Official Court Reporter of NH Superior Court. He is currently a member of the Board of Trustees at the Rochester Opera House. As state representative, he served on the House Task Force whose focus was also campaign reform.  Bob was first elected to the New Hampshire House of Representatives in 2006 and served two terms representing Strafford County District #3.  He served on the House Election Law Committee for both his terms in the legislature.

Betty Tamposi (New Castle, NH) is the former Assistant Secretary of State under President George H.W. Bush; and former Republican candidate for Congress.

Athena Valkanos (Manchester, NH) currently a senior at University of NH; undergraduate representative for the UNH Sociology Dept. and a current 2018 NLC NH Chapter Fellow pursuing a degree in public policy.

Steve Varnum (Manchester, NH) left journalism after 25 years with the goal of helping make the world a better place. Since then, he has been Public Policy Director of the Children's Alliance of New Hampshire helping create better laws, budgets and policies for children. As Director of PrioritiesNH, a political issue campaign, he educated voters about our misguided federal budget priorities. He's a former board chair of the NH Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence, a national leader in its field, and volunteers for the Concord Coalition to End Homelessness. He is currently Director of Communication and Marketing for the New Hampshire Community Loan Fund, an innovative nonprofit that uses loans and education to help low-income people and communities create and preserve affordable housing, quality child care and good jobs.

Carol Wyndham (Peterborough, NH) is a retired teacher who began working with Granny D when Granny ran for US Senate in 2004. Carol began organizing meetings for public funding of elections starting in May, 2006. The effort continues today with PACE (Public Action for Clean Elections) and COD (Coalition for Open Democracy). Carol also organized a schedule of Granny D’s friends to help with errands, etc. Carol also works on voting integrity issues with PTC (Protect the Count).
